The host computer is typically a PC with a Network Controller connected to one of its serial communication ports. Serial I/O between the Computer and the Network Controller will need to be parsed* (usually accomplished through a software driver that has been incorporated in the application program). 

This downloadable Manual encompasses the overall Radio Modem set up, operation, and trouble shooting, as pertains to Network operation within the Monicor System. See "Other Information" below. 

The Two Technologies TechTerm terminal,shown above, is ideally suited for operation with the Monicor IC-100MES. The TechTerm is a hand held ASCII terminal for use with computers or computer controlled instruments or industrial machinery. 

Monicor portable wireless LAN products are presently being utilized in a widely variable range of applications ranging from monitoring Penguin Migration in Antarctica to weighing and logging heavy loads being transferred by large cranes. 

Operational mode is determined by simple user configuration changes which are stored in the radio by the user. Point to Point is a special option which does not support network or multidrop modes.
